Calcinographies

This publication gathers a series of black-and-white photographs of calcined snail shells in the process of falling apart. Through these images, I observe how the material transforms: the shell breaks down, releases its CO₂, and gradually reveals its internal structure. The work documents this transitional moment when an organic form becomes a mineral trace, making a usually imperceptible process visible.
